Extractor Fan & Hob Cleaning in Warrington
The hob takes the spills and the extractor hood quietly swallows the grease, year after year. We strip and degrease both: metal filters through our heated gel bath, hoods degreased inside and out, gas burners polished, and glass hobs finished streak free. Microwaves can join the same visit.
Grease Out, Shine Back
The extractor's metal grease filters come out and soak in the heated gel bath, the same fume-free system we use on oven racks, which dissolves years of cooked-on fat.
The hood is degreased inside and out, from the canopy and controls to the visible ducting mouth, then stainless steel and glass are polished streak free.
Gas hobs are stripped down with the pan supports and burners cleaned and polished and the knobs off. Ceramic and induction glass is blade-cleaned and polished without a scratch.
Everything goes back together with a protective finish, and because there are no caustic sprays involved, the kitchen is ready to cook in straight away.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you clean a kitchen extractor fan?
The metal grease filters come out and go into our heated gel bath, which dissolves the built-up fat a spray can never shift. The hood itself is degreased inside and out, the light lens is cleaned so it actually lights the hob again, and stainless steel is polished streak free. Carbon filters cannot be washed: they need replacing roughly every three years, and we will tell you honestly if yours are due.
How much does extractor fan or hob cleaning cost?
Booked with an oven they are the best value: the oven, hob and hood package is £95 with a single oven or £110 with a double, and every range clean includes the extractor already. On their own, send us a photo and we confirm a fixed price for the visit before anything is booked.
Can you clean the hob without the oven?
Yes. Gas pan supports and burners are degreased and polished, induction and ceramic glass is cleaned with a blade and polish that leaves no scratches, and electric rings are stripped of baked-on spills. Most customers add the oven while we are there, but it is not compulsory.
How do I keep an electric or induction hob clean between visits?
Wipe spills while the glass is still warm, not hot, and once a week use a ceramic hob scraper held almost flat with a dab of hob cream. What ruins glass hobs is scouring pads and burnt sugar left to cool, so deal with sugary spills straight away.
Do you clean commercial kitchen extract systems?
No. Restaurant and pub extract ducting is a specialist compliance job with its own certification, and we stay honest about what we are set up for. Our extractor cleaning is for domestic kitchens, holiday lets and rental properties.
How often should extractor filters be degreased?
In a kitchen that cooks daily, the metal filters want a proper degrease every six to twelve months. If the hood has started to drip, hum louder than it used to, or smell of old fat when it runs, it is overdue.
